From Farm To Festival: The Radnor Hills Story

From farm to festival: This year marks a sparkling milestone for Radnor Hills, as they proudly celebrate 35 years of refreshing the nation. And where better to raise a glass (or bottle or can) than at Ludlow Food Festival?

From Farm To Festival: The Radnor Hills Story

Radnor Hills are incredibly proud to be celebrating their 35th anniversary of hydrating the nation. And where better to mark the occasion than at Ludlow Food Festival - a place that champions food, drink, and community, in the heart of the Welsh Marches.

For more than three decades, Radnor Hills have been quenching the nation's thirst with their wide range of still, sparkling, and naturally flavoured soft drinks. Whether it's a crisp sparkling water or one of their delicious Heartsease Farm presses, their drinks are crafted with the same dedication to flavour, quality, and sustainability that has been their hallmark since the very beginning.

From Farm to Festival

The story of Radnor Hills is one rooted in family heritage. Heartsease Farm, the name behind their premium presse collection, is the working farm at Radnor Hills itself. It has been home to the Watkins family sine 1903, with generations of passion and commitment to the land. That history lives on today, in every bottle they make - a true reflection of their values, their connection to place, and their love of great flavour.

And what makes it all the more special is that their customers enjoy drinking their creations as much as the team at Radnor Hills enjoy making them. From kitchen tables to picnic hampers, their drinks have been a refreshing part of everyday life for families across the country.

POWERED BY THE SUN

Sustainability has always been a key priority for Radnor Hills. Every one of their products is fully recyclable, but this year they've taken a bold new step forward. In 2025, they opened their very own solar farm, helping to power the factory with renewable energy. It means that many of their drinks are now truly made with the power of the sun - a milestone that highlights their commitment to the future as much as it celebrates their heritage.

Join the celebrations at Ludlow Food Festival

At this year's Ludlow Food Festival, visitors will be able to join Radnor Hills in celebrating their 35th anniversary in style. Stop by the Heartsease Farm stand to sample their sparkling range and discover more about their story.

Of course no celebration is complete without something a little special, and they are sharing one of their favourite recipes; light, fluffy and utterly irresistable Lemonade Scones. All you need to decide is whether it’s cream then jam, or jam then cream….
