Have you ever seen a bright pink Gorilla before? Born at the British Ironwork centre, the family of Gorillas have brought fun and colour to everyone who meets them, they have grown to be quite famous.
These aren't just any old Gorillas, they have travelled the length and breadth of the country meeting people from all over the UK 'On Tour'. They have attended festivals, flower shows, fun days and a YFC ball, They have seen it all.
Most people pose for a #GorillaSelfie #GorillasonTour, they are the most photographed Gorillas in the UK, quite the celebrities. But you'd be pleased to know that their favourite place is being back home at the Ironworks, in Shropshire.
These Gorillas will be located around Ludlow symbolising where there will be 'something to see'!
You might want to pop and see the Pink Gorilla at the Ludlow Assembly Rooms or perhaps the Purple Gorilla at Ludlow Library where one of our Guest Butchers will be serving up over 2,000 sausages for the Sausage Trail! We are looking for the best #selfie using the hashtags above and tagging Ludlow Food Festival and The British Ironworks Centre!
There will be plenty of other events and activites taking place around the town and surrouding area both in the lead up and over the weekend of the Festival itself.
The Sausage Trail; Ale Trail and Bread Trail take place on the Saturday + the Window Dressing Competition all weekend.
For 2016 we have the very popular Pork Pie Making, Sushi classes, Butchery and Thai Green Curry. Book early places are limited.
