Hands on Masterclasses

GET SET THIS YEAR for some truelly inspiring masterclasses! We will be putting you in the safe hands of Chef Steve Lyons and you are sure to go away feeling like you have achieved great things!

All Masterclasses take place in the Inner Bailey area of Ludlow Castle over the three days of the festival.  You will need to purchase an entry ticket to the Ludlow Food Festival to gain access to these masterclasses.

So for 2016, we will be putting on three sessions on the Friday and four sessions on Saturday and Sunday...all for just £5 per person!

More about our Masterclass Chef, STEVE LYONS

In 2002 Steve won the Raymond Blanc Scholarship prize, giving him his first taste of professional cooking. He spent many happy years working in both Raymond Blanc's kitchen at his 2 star Michelin restaurant Le Manoir Aux Quats Saisons and in his famous cookery school.

He has also worked for the Cheltenham based chef David Everitt-Matthias at his 2 star Michelin restaurant Le Champignon Sauvage. This position further cemented his love for the culinary life and for the art that is serving up fabulous tasting and perfectly present food.

All About The Food was established in 2013 with the aim of bringing the fine dining restaurant experience into the homes of his customers and experiencing his tailor made cookery classes.

Bursary-people aged 16-25

The purpose of the bursary is to provide practical help to one or more young people aged 16 to 25, to help them build a career in the local food and drink industry.
