PARK & RIDE(Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
Ludlow is a charming medieval town, but has limited town centre parking, which at the time of an event like the Festival is even more limited!
On the Saturday and Sunday of the 2008 Festival, King Street, High Street and Castle Street will be closed to vehicles, at the request of the police, in order to make these streets a safer and more pleasant environment for the peak time of the Festival. It will now be even more essential to use the Park and Ride.
For your convenience we have established a PARK & RIDE scheme at an edge-of-town site, where for only £1.00 per adult and 50p per child you get supervised parking AND a return journey on the frequent bus service to and from the town centre. A low-floor bus is available for people with disabilities.
You will find this is by far the easiest way - it will be difficult to find a legal parking place in the centre of Ludlow whilst the Festival is taking place.

ACCESSIBILITY
All events in Ludlow Castle and most other venues are suitable for wheelchair access. The entrance to the Castle itself has a rough cobbled surface and a wheelchair user may require assistance - readily available on the spot - for this short section. Some shops have entrance steps but again assistance is readily available. Detailed information can be found at the Festival Information Stall near the Castle entrance, or by phoning 01584 873957.
Disabled toilets can be found at the car park off Castle Square, and in the Castle during the Food and Drink Fair. Disabled car park spaces (for disabled badge holders) can be found in the car park off Castle Square.
One of the Park & Ride buses has a low floor access. Further information on this will be available from the stewards at the car park.
