with over 140 local food and drink producers and other castle events

10.10am in the Outer Bailey
for stall holders and participants
with The Venerable Colin Williams, Church of England Team Rector.

YOUNG CHEFS CONTEST - organised by Ludlow Skill Builders

The competition is for young chefs in training aged 16-25. They have to produce two plates of either a starter or a dessert in a bid to wow the judges, Mr Underhill's Chris Bradley, Will Holland from La Becasse and former Ludlow top chef Claude Bosi. Judging starts at 4.00pm

Making pizzas and cooking them in a wood-fired, open oven, Inner Bailey.

MICHELIN STARRED 'POP UP' RESTAURANT

For the 2011 Festival we are pleased to welcome back Shaun Hill,

Claude Bosi and Glynn Purnell who will be cooking throughout the weekend.

Opening times are Friday and Saturday - daytime sittings:

12 noon - 2.15 pm and 2.45 pm - 5 pm.

They will also be opening for an evening service for a tasting menu extravaganza from 7.30pm onwards.

For the Sunday the restaurant will be open for the two daytime sittings only. Lunch will be £47.50 for three courses and dinner £67.50 for the tasting menu.

A TASTE OF ITALY
(also on Saturday and Sunday) - in the garden area. Ludlow's Twin Town San Pietro in Cariano bring their Valpolicella and speciality wines, plus cheeses from their region to the Ludlow Food Festival.

10am - 5pm Circus Skills, Garden Area
Entertainment in the Big Top for all ages. Try your hand at circus skills.

APPLE PRESSING
10am - 5pm Ralphs Cider, Garden Area
Cider press displays by Ralphs Cider.

Army Field Kitchen cooking on Soyer Stoves.
